Seven runners braved the rainy (but mild for December) conditions for the Saturday 12/14 run to Great Meadow. We also celebrated Andy’s Birthday at the CR breakfast.
Runners and walkers enjoyed beautiful sunshine on today’s 4.5 mile route to Nashawtuc Hill. The sidewalks on Main Street were a bit slippery, but Nashawtuc Road was in good shape.
The rain ended and the weather was pleasant (low 40’s) for the 2019 Concord Turkey Trot 5K on Thursday, 11/28. There were 1,581 finishers in the race.

Concord Runners swept the 60+ Mens (12 runners in this category) at the Sleepy Hollow 5K in Concord on Saturday 10/26. Warren Moberly Chan place 1st 21:52 (7:02 pace), Bart Littlefield 2nd 23:01 (7:25 pace), David Elwood 3rd 23:48 (7:40 pace).
Carol Leiter placed 1st 60+ at the Busa Bushwhack Trail Race in Framingham on Sunday 10/27 in a time of 1:15:02 for the 5.3 mile run.
